Eco-daily challenges: To change the world starts within you

Can you change the world from home? The answer is YES.

You must be the changes you want to see in the world.
So changing the world starts within ourselves.

We collect every month a challenge that is very easy to follow, and can reduce the impact you are having in our planet: little actions that, together, become big results. Follow us in Instagram and Facebook, and HANDLE THE CHANGE with us 🙂

Every minute, around the globe, 1 million plastic bottles are sold that will end up in landfills or in the sea.

Find out about the quality of water in your home.

Use filters and, if you have to transport water, use reusable containers.

Follow the 3R! For a week use only the paper really necessary (reduce), use it to the maximum (reuse) and recycle all the paper that passes through your hands (recycle)!

And buy ONLY RECYCLED PAPER. If you use 500 folios of recycled paper instead of virgin paper you are saving 80 liters of water, energy for 54 hours of TV, 7.5 kg of wood AND CO2 FROM A CAR IN 2 KM.

It’s said that red coral has healing properties and drives away evil spirits. This makes it attractive to unscrupulous coral hunters who act with impunity. If it isn’t protected, this species could become extinct within 10 years.

You can help preserve red coral by refusing to buy any jewellery made with it. And, if you are a scuba diver, don’t go near the reefs. The less people traffic, the better 😉

A led bulb uses 100 times less energy than a low consumption bulb.
You don’t only emit less CO2 into the atmosphere, but also you save money!

By taking your own bag when you go shopping you are helping to keep our planet healthy.

Plastic bags take 400 years to biodegrade, and their excessive use is polluting our seas and endangering numerous marine species.
